If you’re looking for album reviews from a trusted brand in music, pitchfork has a little reviews explorer worth checking out. It arranges the albums by rating or date in the reviews over time. It also show similar music to the album reviews you searched for. You can then hover on an album to learn more, or click on it to read the review. I like the idea of choosing between relevance in rating and date. I feel that web interfaces based on text could use more inspiration in this direction.
