‘True Skin’ is a remix of Blade Runner’s visual-neon-alley language yet with a fresh cyberpunkish feel. Since humans are mostly augmented beings in the near future, being made from flesh and blood will be a clear disadvantage.
I can’t wait until I finally get that new prosthetic leg from my kiosk of choice, read light projector magazines in the wee hours and get a miniscule chip implanted in my eye, so I’m always connected to the interwebs. Directed by Stephan Zlotescu, this short-film has hopes of becoming a full-feature flick.
